Jutta is an experienced industry executive who has held senior positions at global semiconductor companies for close to 30 years.

She joined IQE in January 2024 from Intel Corporation and she has held senior executive roles at GlobalFoundries and AMD. Her expertise spans corporate strategy, capital allocation, governance, M&A, transformation and global manufacturing operations.

In addition to leading IQE, she serves on the UK Government's Semiconductor Advisory Panel and the UK Semiconductor Centre's Interim Steering Group, helping shape the future of the semiconductor industry. She holds an Master's degree in Business Administration from the Dresden University of Technology.

Mark Cubitt joined the IQE Board in October 2024.

Mark is an accountant and has been the Non-executive Chairman of both AIM-listed Beeks Financial Cloud Group plc since 2016 and also Concurrent Technologies plc since 2020. Previously, Mark was the CFO of Wolfson Microelectronics Plc for eight years from 2007 to 2014, and also Non-executive Chairman of Superglass Holdings Plc in 2015 and 2016. He has also served as VP of Finance at Jacobs Engineering and was Finance Director of Babtie Group Ltd until the sale of the company to Jacobs Engineering in 2004, when he then took up a wider finance role within Jacobs.

Chair of Audit Committee

Carol Chesney joined IQE’s Board in May 2019 and was appointed as a Senior Independent Director in November 2020.

With a wealth of Board experience, Carol also serves as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Chair for Hunting plc, Hill & Smith plc and Imagination Technologies Group Limited. Previously she was Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Renishaw plc and Biffa plc.

Until 2018 Carol served as the Company Secretary of Halma plc, a FTSE 100 health, safety and environmental technology group, having also served as the group’s Financial Controller.

Carol is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and qualified with Arthur  Andersen in the UK.

Bami Bastani has a wealth of experience in the semiconductor industry, having spent seven years at GlobalFoundries, first as Senior VP and GM of the Mobile & Wireless Infrastructure Business Unit and then as Senior VP and Senior Advisor to the CEO as well as GlobalFoundries' board member at the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). Prior to GlobalFoundries Bami held President, CEO and Board member roles at Meru Networks, Trident Microsystems and ANADIGICS. Bami brings over 20 years of serving on Boards of Directors of public and private companies. Dr Bastani holds a PhD and a Masters of Science in Solid State Electronics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Arkansas.

Maria Marced is a highly experienced executive within the semiconductor sector.

Maria currently serves on several Boards including CEVA and Sequans Communications and is the Chairwoman of the GSA EMEA Leadership Council. Maria was the President of TSMC Europe from November 2007 until December 2023 and was responsible for the strategy and management of TSMC Europe and leading the decision of TSMC on the EU fab.

Maria joined Philips Semiconductors in 2003 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Connected Multimedia Solutions Business Unit and later on as General Manager of Sales and Marketing during the transformation of Philips to NXP. Maria joined Philips from Intel where she developed her professional career over 19 years, reaching senior positions in Europe, Middle East and Africa as Vice President and General Manager.

Maria holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain.

Robert Dennehy has over 30 years of experience at MACOM, spanning product management, operations leadership and general management across the U.S. and Europe.

He has served as MACOM's Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since November 2025, having previously held the roles of Senior Vice President, Operations, Vice President, Operations and Managing Director of MACOM's Cork, Ireland subsidiary.

David O’Carroll has over 10 years of experience at MACOM, with particular expertise in international operations, finance, and government relations across Europe and Asia.

He has served as MACOM’s Vice President since October 2023, managing facilities in France, Japan and Ireland and overseeing MACOM’s Asian operations. Mr. O’Carroll previously held the roles of Senior Director of Global Accounting Operations and International Finance Director. He is the President of the MACOM group’s French subsidiary. He is also a director on the board of several international subsidiaries within the MACOM group.
