IQE wins Gold Tier Supplier Award from BAE Systems
IQE plc (AIM: IQE, "IQE" or the "Group"), the leading supplier of compound semiconductor wafer products and advanced material solutions to the global semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce it has received a Gold Tier Supplier Award from BAE Systems, the global provider of defence, aerospace and security solutions.
The Gold Tier Supplier Award recognises exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success for BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems sector in 2022. BAE Systems’ Partner 2 Win program is designed to achieve operational excellence and eliminate defects in its supply chain by raising the bar of performance expectations to meet the demand of current and future customers. As part of the program, BAE Systems meets regularly with its suppliers to transfer best practices to ensure that the components and materials that compose its products meet the highest quality standards.
It is the third Gold Tier Award that IQE has won, in recognition of the Company’s cutting-edge technology and high levels of service. IQE is one of only 30 BAE Systems’ suppliers to receive this level of recognition.
